’90s Sedan
Well I needed myself a set of wheels
Weren’t no rich man so I made a deal
In a Denny’s parking lot I paid two grand
I got myself a little ‘90s sedan
Fire it up and the engine’s squealing
Head rest’s a-busted and paint’s a-peeling
Could use dash lights and a cooling fan
But what do you expect of a ‘90s sedan
Sometimes when folks see a car like mine
They say “Sorry pal, you’ve fallen on hard times”
I hate to tell them, hate to tip my hand
The nicest car I ever owned is a ‘90s sedan
There’s times I break down, gotta get towed
Stand like a fool there on the side of the road
Don’t even matter, I’m in no hurry man
Nothing teaches patience like a ‘90s sedan
Maybe someday I’ll hit the lotto
But I won’t be buying some highfalutin auto
I’m a simple man, just like I told ya
Might trade up for a 2000 Corolla
