New song: “Cut Our Losses”

08.15.2015 by Chris Wilcox //

I know that reading lyrics is a different – and probably ultimately less satisfying – experience than hearing songs, so I appreciate your patience as I get these ideas into the world by the best means currently at my disposal. As you might have noticed, I failed to post a new lyric last month. I’ll double up this month to get back to the schedule I had in mind. (Believe it or not, there is kind of a plan in action here.)

This is a leaving/breakup song, something I’m quite sure has never existed in the history of popular music. Oh well. Maybe there’s a fresh twist on an old subject matter tucked away in here somewhere.
