Thanks to those who requested a copy of the book this week. If you asked for one, you should have received it by now. I loaded up my trusty reusable shopping bag and walked the packages to the post office myself, along the same streets I was walking when many of the song ideas first struck. Kinda neat.
As an enticement (or, just as likely, a deterrent) to anyone on the fence, here is an old reading of the lyric that opens the collection. I’m not sure why I speak that way.
There will be a modest price increase after this weekend, to better cover shipping costs. Also, I might not be stocking or sending out copies myself once I’ve worked through the stack that’s already on my desk; it may be a print-on-demand situation between you and the printer for each individual copy, with longer wait times.
If you want to receive your copy quickly and also get the satisfaction of knowing you made me schlep it to the post office myself (I appreciate the exercise), act soon.
