Fun with Campaign Mail

11.15.2016 by Chris Wilcox //

With 17 propositions on the ballot here in California this year, I received a truly ridiculous amount of campaign mail, none of which changed my mind about anything. Rather than dispose of the ads as they came in, I set them aside to see how many I’d end up with. Then, when they stopped coming, I laid them end to end and followed the trail of junk mail for 55 feet. No kidding. Fifty-five feet.

Since there was so much mail and it was all so boring, I wanted to do something fun with it. So, with a stack of mail and a roll of tape, I did.

(There’s also a version of the video on Facebook, if you’re into that sort of thing.)
